I've just reviewed the turkey recipe on page 120, (which I changed a lot to suit me, so it really isn't much like the recipe after all!)and after reading all the comments in here I thought "wow, no-one likes this book, I'll flick through mine and see what all the fuss is about as I haven't looked at it in a long time"

It. Is. A. Dreadful. Book.

Revolting. Insipid.

Beige.

I remember now why I didn't like it when I first got it. HO should be embarrassed.

So I have looked through my copy to see if I have made anything. And I have... A whole 2 recipes!! (thank goodness I write in all my recipe books as I would have forgotten otherwise!)

The other recipe is Broccoli with black olives. Who cooks broc for 25 minutes  ???

Mmmmm, not sure really. No I don't think so. I think your description of the book as "beige" is perfect.  ;D :D

I had plenty of other words, just not too many that would be acceptable to print here.

Beige describes it - especially the photography!

Oh no Moysie, chardonnay has a lot to answer for some days!  :-))

Have another glass and you may find a recipe in there that floats your boat. Be sure to tell us about it when you find and make it though - we'll all want to hear if there's another "good" recipe in that book!  ;D
