Biscuit Press recipe
« on: October 05, 2013, 05:50:31 am »
On cleaning out the cupboard I found my old Sawa biscuit press and thought it might be good to make biscuits for the GC . The book seems to be missing and wondered if anyone has a good TMX recipe for this type of biscuit. Many thanks.

Hi Troupie
This caught my eye as I have just unearthed my Marcato biscuit press ;D

Sorry I don't have a tmx recipe but I have the basic ingredients you could use together with the method from one of the biscuit recipes on here.

Basic Biscuit Dough:
500g flour
250g sugar
250g butter or marg
pinch of salt
60 to 80g milk (recipe says 2-3 oz milk-until the dough is soft)
2 teaspoons cocoa (optional)
3 egg yolks

Hope this helps :)

Many thanks; I will give it a try with perhaps half the mixture first.
