At last I have made these. I wondered about the tablespoon of vanilla but it really adds to the taste.
These are truly delicious. I didn't have any smarties so I added a handful of mini  choc chips to the mixture. I love them and DH has just had a couple with his afternoon coffee.
Definitely on the make again and again list.

I made these  with 125g brown sugar instead of rapadura, sunflower seeds instead of walnuts, choc chips instead of sultanas, oats and topped them with mini M&M's for the kids lunchboxes this week. They have been given the thumbs up from my kids too.
