lol Gert.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the dark grey around the yolk? I see others with beautiful white and yellow but mine always have a grey tinge to them.

It's because they were overcooked Wonder. It also pays to plunge them into cold water immediately, leave them there until they are cool.

I'm loving boiling eggs in the tmx too. I've used Quirky Jo's quinoa salad recipe where 4 eggs rest on top of the quinoa (in the basket) and they are cooked for approx 18-20mins/varoma/sp2. I then have quinoa for dinner and eggs for lunch the next day...or eggs in the quinoa dish

Wonder I've found that by using the thermomix and then plunging the eggs into cold water I never have grey around the yolks anymore.

May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
