It depends on what you eat - if it was me I'd take the opportunity to make a good supply of tomato ketchup, and pasta and pizza sauces.Look on pages 61-64 of The Everyday cookbook that came with Tilly.  ;)

 ;D It IS yummy!! It's mine. It's a great one for using loads of tomatoes. I recommend roasting tomatoes anytime you're cooking something with them. I've done it for soup as well and it makes such a difference!

Finally got to this post - was going to suggest passata - already done.  Maybe tomato custard??  ;) ;) ;) ;)

You can make desserts with tomato - George C made a stuffed tomato dessert on Masterchef earlier this year.

Actually,  tomato sorbets are good too.

Thankyou to all you lovely ladies who inspired me to make these sauces...Yum passata is so nice
Worked a treat.
Have been making lots of fruity Dreams for the children( they love them )
Minced up some steak ii already had in the freezer so I am going to make meat balls to day with the sauce I was so surpried how well it did mince up the meat, (slighty frozen)

So how is Tilly going?  Hope you're both happy and you're keeping Tilly very busy.  My magic pot is going to be worn out (if that's possible) and dh sometimes thinks he's a thermomix widow or divorcee I think.

Hi Susanna, I'm in Tmba too :)

Cathy, have you considered Betros Bros? Under the table of small buckets of tomatoes, they have boxes of 4kg and 10kg. Can't remember the price at the moment, but when I can be bothered to get my jars out and clean them up, and go through the hot water bath processing again, I will buy in bulk and do lost of pasta sauce with Betros Bros produce :)
