Hi Just thought I would like to HI,
I have been reading all about the Thermomix. Sounds interesting
I have booked to go to a class in October.
Everyone seems so positive about the machine, Yes it is a lot of money.
being on a farm I do a lot of my own cooking.
But I am looking at the healthy alternative.
AS I will read more about it through this forum.maybe I may look into buying one.

Hi Suzanna!
Welcome!
I've had my TMX for 2 and a half months and I haven't regretted it yet. I'm a mum of 4 and it's worth it's weight in gold!

Hi and welcome Suzanna. Farmers' wives are great cooks and the TMX will only enhance your skills in this department. Hope you enjoy the demo and are impressed enough to go ahead and buy one for yourself.

Love to know what happens after the October class...what were your thoughts -- let us know, it will be interesting to see if you think that it will be of use to you. I would say that being on a farm you will be amazed at how it will make meals a lot easier for you, and if you have cows you can make butter, and all the other fresh produce that you probably have at your fingertips, how you will be able to make bread and preserves etc.

Thanks everyone for your replies, What I am looking at is this . Can someone tell me would it be great for children's meals as we foster children. The children are quite young , oldest 3 1/2. youngest 8mths we have 4 children. So I am hoping that the machine will help with good nutrition for them.

It was developed for children's nutrition. So, yes - short answer. Others with children - check mama_bel, Jo, brazen's blogs

"It's a small world after all" - I'm from Toowoomba too. Will see you at the cooking class.
I've got 2 DD's under 5, and am enjoying cooking things for them. Freyja asks every morning for "mummy bread and mummy jam" which is a huge compliment.
I've had my TMX for about 6 weeks now, and am loving it. Still lots to learn, no disasters yet.

I'll accept that compliment! And it's even before the shower and makeup.
