Think I am going to try this.
We used to eat milk jelly, whipped evap milk mixed with a dissolved jelly square ( not full dilution) as children.

Ditto DJ. Mum would make jelly whips when we were young (much better than her other dessert, junket ugh!). Think it was a can of evaporate milk chilled in freezer whipped until fluffy then mix in one packet of jelly crystals (dissolved in boiling water and cooled). Then chilled.

My grandma and mum used to make a similar dessert - I havent had one for years though. I should ask mum if she remembers how she used to make it.

I also remember this Judy.  It was the only icecream my Motherinlaw used to make.
