OK, only half my family likes tuna to start with, so this may have been overly ambitious, but this was NOT a success for us
. The pastry was lovely but I think it needed a slightly hotter oven than the stated 160c.
I didn't think the tuna mix was too bad (just VERY strongly tuna and onion flavoured) but my family did. My children all eat tuna mornay reasonably happily, but really disliked this
. The filling was also a little gluggy in texture - if I were re-doing the recipe, I'd add some celery and other fillers to lighten the flavour a little AND give it a little more crunch.
