I really think that making things yourself really is a morale booster, and it's nice to hear those you love say how nice the food you have made is. I can imagine how easy it will be for me to put on themomix" pounds when the machine arrives. I'm hoping the kids will eat everything befor i can get to it ...

Thank you.  The food that comes out of my Thermosweetie is absolutely delicious.  I think I have a little extra confidence thanks to everyone on this website.  I downloaded the instruction manual to famliarise myself with the machine and all its buttons and dials.  And then reading the recipes on here, I could really visualise "how" to do it.  So as soon as I unpacked it, I really felt confident to "have a go".  Lucky, as there are no unpacking parties here in Germany so one has little choice other than to be completely resoruceful and independent.

I have been a Thermomix owner for just over 48 hours and I have made recipes from this website, from the cookbook and even innovated and invented a couple.  You are going to have a ball!!

I am so excited for you. I know how agonising the wait is.

Lee and Ed - great to hear all your feedback, comments and recipes!  I can't believe how quickly you have got in there and are up and running with both new and adapted recipes.  Loving hearing about your TMX and looking forward to hearing how everything goes.  It does sound a bit as though you are going to need one TMX each, though!

What a wonderful idea!  Can you send a private post to my DH, edmundkostewicz and tell him???  ;D

I made JudyDawn's Curried Sausages for dinner tonight.  How sensational are they??? Pity it is 32 degrees here in Frankfurt today but a good curry is always in order.  I cannot believe how versatile this machine is??? It seriously does everything.  And on a hot day, not turning the oven on is certainly a winner in my book!  And that rice - wowwee!!!  I have a hideously expensive automatic Tefal rice cooker that I once thought was the Bee's Knees, didn't even give it a thought!  And Varoma cooked sausages, OMG OMG!!!!!!  Can you tell that I am happy with my Thermolovie?????????  ;D

Because of the weather, Ed is making berry ice cream from our German TMX book (Jeden Tag genießen) that I have.  We may need to purchase another book very soon, as the print is wearing out.  No, not really!!  But it will make bed time reading easier if we simply have two books, rather than one.  Too hot for cuddles here at the moment!!!

Two books!  Only two books??? Who am I kidding!!!  LOL

xxxx

Sounds like you may possibly be in love Lee. I bet you go to bed and dream about the TM lol. It's great to read what you have been up too  and obviously you are really enjoying being a TM owner. Keep having fun. And keep posting recipes for us all.
