Chookie, if you could also either PM me the recipe or pop the link in here I would appreciate it.  With my DH's suspected sudden lactose intolerance developing I'm having to change my cooking totally so am starting a whole new recipe collection!

I think Chookie is still travelling today girls so I have copied it for you from her blog.

Tuesday, November 3, 2009
Lemon spread
1 large lemon [about 250g]
2 rounded dessert spoons of custard powder
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup of water
1 egg


method

use vegetable peeler to remove peel from lemon.
zap with sugar in TM bowl, 10 seconds on speed 8.
add custard powder and zap 5 seconds on speed 5.
add rest of ingredients 10 seconds on speed 7.

to cook mixture - temperature 100 , speed 2, for 12 minutes, with cap removed.

variations

for pie filling add an additional dessertspoon of custard powder.

They all last well,I think chookies would be cheaper and lest calories.

I have it, but don't really know how to use it.

They all last well,I think chookies would be cheaper and lest calories.

Just started using evernote for my recipes,love it. Good to file on the iPad. Was just using notes.

Thanks Bedlam, might make chookies first as its cheaper for me.

Loving evernote, adding recipes daily, i have sections, plus i have 8 weeks of winter menu plans on there now

I'm still struggling with evernote. Can't work out how to have different sections i.e. tag for mains, another for desserts, baking etc. Also can't work out how to put things in it without copy/paste.

Evernote is an excellent tool for meal planning. I add a 'this week' tag to my recipes I am making for the week and then write my shopping list from that. Once I've made the meal I remove that tag. So easy to use and as you said Hally, you can make up lots of menus in advance.

I dont use the tag correctly, i tag all mine thermomix, i would like to be ble to hsve 1 note book with all the recipes and then tag pasta, cakes etc, instead i have a notebook for each section

When I add a new recipe and starting a new section I just click on the 'click here to add tag...' which is just above where the font selection is. Then a new box appears in its place and I just type in what the new section (tag) will be. Alternatively Ctrl + shift + T will add a new tag. Once you have a tag you can just drag it from the menu on the side and drop anywhere on the recipe and it will add that tag. Don't know about transferring without copy and paste excepting using web clipper. You will need to download it I think. From what I've read it's addtional to evernote and not part of the program download. Hope this helps.
