Hi all,
Has anyone tried making scrambled eggs? Not sure if this is even possible but thought I'd ask whilst I am waiting for my bread to bake!!!!

I have made scrambled eggs once when I first got my TM. They cooked well and were yummy but they do tend to stick to the bottom of the bowl. So I personally wouldn't recommend it.

I know this is an old thread but I made scrambled eggs the other day when I had run out of my normal breakfast ingredients.

I didn't think you could do it in the TMX but you can! I'm really happy with the results - fluffy and light. I used rjsj's recipe from the forum.

Here they are:

I personally do not see much point in preparing scrambled eggs in the TMX.
The routine I have been using for many decades is somewhat different from the usual suspects and I prefer it, especially if cooking for several people and wanting to keep the eggs warm in a chafer.

This is the way it was done by my grandpa's cook when I was a child and there were many people needing to be served, though not all at once.
I posted about this on my blog last May.  Scrambled eggs.

It's different because most people add cream or milk to the eggs and then cook them but this produces a different result in both flavor and texture.

I agree andie, and like you, I never add milk or cream as it does something 'nasty' to the texture and they taste more buttery without it.  I also feel you need to be in control of the stirring yourself.
