Oh my!  Thanks everyone!  It wasn't my intention to make anyone cry, honest!  :-[  I have been so emotional the past few days but there has to be positives in everything!  :-*

JD, DS has been in remission for six years now and is one of the few (or perhaps the only) children to have ever been given this stage.  Unfortunately he has a rare genetic syndrome which is known to cause this and even rarer, cancers.  Normally there is only one gene default but DS thought he'd have two to complicate matters!  :-\

So in effect, he will never be "out of the woods" but this is our bonus time!  For a child who was given a 0% chance of survival passed 3 years, he's certainly doing a lot of living!  ;)

Thank you all for sharing at least some of our journey with us!  8)

For those who might like to follow along with my blog, my partner has started a facebook page for updates.  I'd love it if you "liked" it!  ;D
