Just feeling quite happy about a milestone our family reached yesterday! Please check my blog for details!

I have to admit I'm proud of my eldest son!

Ceejay you should be proud of your son and of yourself- being the parent of a child with a serious illness is one of the worst things we can go through.
Congratulations on reaching such a wonderful milestone.

CeeJay. Thankyou for sharing this part of your life.
It is good to hear such heartfelt, open love and pride in your son and the difficult path you have been travelling.
10 years is such a long time. Congratulations on reaching this milestone.
I wish you a wonderful and joyeous Christmas break with your family.

Ceejay, you know how much admiration I have for you as a parent and a person and if this 10 year anniversary means your DS is out of the woods then that is the best outcome possible for your whole family. Your wisdom, tolerance and compassion for people is unbelievable and your blog sums up the type of person you are and how you and the rest of the family have handled this situation. Your house is so full of love and love gets people through all sorts of trials and tribulations in life. Well done to you all and a special hug to you and DS.

wow ceejay i had no idea but loved everything you wrote and your friends comment on the bottom bought a tear to my eye...I try to live by most of that everyday even though sometimes I fail after all we are only human however I am happy to see that even with the ups and downs you are still a lovely person and the outcome or ongoing journey is still a postive one overall...thanks for sharing your story and just need to add...I believe that hardship and pain enrich your life and who you are even though we would prefer to be without it...in the end makes you a much more empathatic, kind and loving person than you probably would have been.. hugs to you and your family xx

Ceejay, I wish I had the right words to say, but they fail me in the face of one such as you. I simply cannot think of anything more to say.

Lovely to hear that all is so well & you are such a strong family.
I dont think we as people realise how blessed we are each day that we are healthy and most importantly our children are.

Thankyou Ceejay. What a beautiful piece, and such a tough journey. I have just passed it on to a friend who is going through a different, but very rough, journey at the moment. I hope she will find comfort in your writing. Thanks.
