One thing I did notice with using apple purée is that cakes and muffins need to be used quicker than normal. The apple purée shortens the use by date I think :)

I think this applies to any low fat cake recipe Mandi - they are just not the same as full fat cakes.

That's strange as chocolate never lasts long in this house :D. Must be low fat.
