$100 this week

$140 just at the supermarket this week, but I had to have it delivered (so ordered extra bulky things) but ouch :/

I'm back and into it. Saving up for the next break away! $117 this week. Hopefully will see me through until nest Saturday. Cooked up a storm yesterday as the family all come on Sunday's for dinner. Got most of the meat/salmon and fruits for a crumble etc from the freezer and ended up packing away to the freezer leftover pumpkin soup, bread, lasagne and leftovers of my homemade pasta sheets, so that should all help. Only thing I may possibly need is more cat food.

We have been harvesting a lot of our own veg, which is a big saving and much nicer, but when we got back from a months holiday friday it was to see that there was a tiny gap in the cage over our backyard veg patch and the whole lot has been stripped. Damn possums! was expecting to see cabbage, caulis, broad bean plants, beetroot, sprouting broccoli etc

very disappointing!

we have pumpkins growing in my vege patch..
as soon as there ready, I can start planting again, to save more $$$

I'm about to go back to work part time at a lower level after maternity leave & living off 2 full salaries so want to be smarter in our food choices & help the budget

This week $117, I'm still stocking up on some staples for cooking with the TM but hopefully just tracking it will keep it around this level or lower

Just did a shop for $111 - If I hadn't had to replace sugar, flour, maple syrup it would have been well under the elusive $100. Hoping this will last until next Wed.

I spent $23 on spices yesterday at Roys nuts, thanks chookie, a great shop & the Indian round the back is good too

$107 this week if I hadn't stocked up on cool drink I would have been under $100
