Day 2
Fish, chips & salad. I had chicken due to my fish allergy. I must say that the fish at 440g was good for 2. Here are the chips, yum. We used 900g of potatoes. Lunch, ham & salad sandwiches.

Nice chips Hally.  What happens if you eat fish?

Those chips look great Hally. Did you cook them in the oven? I could never get anything like that from my oven.

Wonder, no they are par boiled, then cooked twice in the fry pan. We use Royal Blue potatoes which are great for chips.

Wonder, we cut the potatos in to chips in the morning, leave in water in the fridge.

Day 3, just made the picnic, veg sticks, fruit, cheese, crackers, egg & lettuce sandwiches. Lasagna & veg tonight.

After today I have little fruit left, still quite a few veg, some bread, 5 eggs, 1kg of rump, cheese, bread & milk. Milk running low. No salad left.

So you can feed the family for 5 days for $100, for a bit of variety I used pantry items & bought a few things. I contacted aus farmers and at this stage they are keeping the same meat, it would be good if they changed the meat around.

I think it is good value as the quality is extremly good too.

Day 4 Roast beef & veg for dinner.

Yes Obbie, you could easily stick to this for 5 days and with a few left over bits and pieces.

Thanks Mich :)

Day 5, left o er beef & veg tonight.

I still have 3 eggs, cheese (not much), couple of slices of bread, oats, little milk, vegies, ham left. There is enough to make a nice fried rice dinner if I needed an extra meal. So for $100 it was very good value.

Total spent this week $127.61, which included tea bags & ice creams.
