$21 challenge is very good Jess, great if you can do it once a month. :)

Thanks, DJ.  Inspirational.

My little saving discovery for this week was to make a mix of fresh garlic, fresh ginger and brown onion , chopped together in TMX to form a paste. Put into sandwich bag and press flat and freeze. Break off lumps as require and add to chicken stock, steamed fish or chicken in  Varoma. There is lots of fresh garlic available in Australia at the moment, remember harvest on longest day.

I will get back into this when school starts as it would be good to run the pantry down and save some money. I will be looking at $120 per week to make it viable for me.

well after not buying anything for 2 weeks, except milk..
I took DH and kids shopping......
$700

filled up on coffee, and lots of extras that you don't buy all the time.
