I've been very bad.  That's all I'm saying.  :)

It happens. No worries.

Still trying to decide on how much to put my budget up now 2 of my children had come back to the nest.
Thinking $160. a week, as one is a big eater,(has a very physical job) buying stuff that we don't eat any more like biscuits and ice cream. Will put the budget up and the freezer is just about empty.
So far this week I have spent $1.40 on some onions and saved on petrol as I walked to the shops. :)
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

They are both paying board and it aint cheap. :)
I will have to buy meat each week till I buy it in bulk. That will add to my total.

I buy it from the same butcher, but it is up to $11 a kilo now. Happy still. I think he does me a deal as I have been going there for 7 years & only this year started buying in bulk :)

Ive just made my first bulk beef order after considering what a lot of you have said on this issue.  I do not eat meat myself but my husband does and of course I have sunday lunch for the entire family on sundays so we will find it  a cost saving.  I wanted grass fed beef and was surprised to find a butcher in Seville that supplies grass fed beef at $9.99 for 60 kilos or $10.99 for 30 kilos, packed and delivered to the door!!!!  I have ordered 30 kilos - it was an online order form too and a stack of options.... COD.
