£13 only this week because I happened to be near big supermarket and bought 3 packets decaf tea for DH, 2 packets rooibois for me, neither are available at Aldi, and the packet of coconut I forgot.

Not bad.
However like obbie we have beef in the freezer.

Back to it this week. Expecting to go over as i am out of a few things & until my body is normal again I will be using quick options, ie bbq chicken, bags of salad.

I am temmpting a gumbo today or tomorrow which will do 2 meals.

Well done DJ & Obbie.

Just checking in, got my first 'real' mango this weekend $4 : ( But beats tinned any day!

I have spent a whopping $220 this week but my last spend was 10 days ago ($103). I include meat and fish in mine and aim for $100 per week not including cat food and toiletries. I think I will make it at least 10+ days (I froze some milk!) until I shop again so I think when I average out the month it will be a close call... well I hope so anyway!

I have my menu planned for this week, awesome food and no shopping required! That will save me 2+ hours of my life that I used to waste walking the isles of Woolies almost daily! - not to mention $100 per week I save!

Happy TMXing ladies x

I got sent some flybuy coupons which give me $10 discount each week for the next couple of months, so no excuses for going over budget! Having said that, I did go to Costco this week 😝. Haven't added up the weekly shop yet, but I think I'll be just under if I don't count the Costco items.

£44 in aldi today around 68 Aus$.
And 21 in pound stretcher. This included coat hangers, plastic baskets and loo roll..

DH likes shopping now. Says we'll never go back to mainstream supermarkets except for the speciality things.

However I do want good quality flour. Years ago trialled supermarket flours and the differences were huge.
Has anyone else tried budget flour for cakes/ biscuits etc?

I would love to join you!   Sounds like a great challenge.  The diary is an awesome idea too.   I need to get my herb garden in top shape.

Morgan this is a great challenge. I hardly ever come to this thread anymore because I have become sooooo disciplined . Great idea by Hally and those who partake have learned a lot even to the point of having NO SPEND weeks.

Just do not buy anything you do not need this week.  That is a good start.
