Sorry Mandi about  your grandma.

Preserved lemons, great idea.
I have bottles so lemon butter, lemon mousse sounds good.
Thanks for the links.

I am so lucky to have Mums friends at bowls,  appreciate my cooking cakes for them.

Seems alot of people don't bake any more.

How wonderful Mandi that your children  had a Great Grandma to remember.  Sad loss or DH.

My great grandmother was alive to see my first 4 children  (being their great great grandmother) my eldest son was her first great great grandchild and was actually born on her 85th birthday which was pretty special :) we have photos of the 5 generation.

Condolences for your loss.

My lemons are only just starting to ripen and I have still so many green ones on our tree and a couple of yellow ones finally. I have just bought a book called "Lemons- hundreds of household hints" by Diane and Jon Sutherland for all those times when I have a dearth of lemons and can't give enough away to friends and family. The book has so many ideas for cleaning, laundry, garden, beauty, health and above all, cooking! At last, I have so many ideas to use up my lemons!

My grandma is 90 years old and the only grand parent I have left. DS and I are very close to her. She did not cope with dad (her son) passing away but she is slowly coming to terms with it. Sad when you out live your children.
