Moroccan chicken with carrot puree with orange sauce - this is the best meal I've had for a while.  Wasn't too sure as I was putting it together - my thoughts were, is the harissa paste going to be too strong, mmm the carrot puree looks a bit thin in the picture and I couldn't even see the orange sauce in the picture either.  I reduced the liquid a bit in the carrot puree, it is still thinnish but was quite OK. The orange sauce wasn't much on it's own but the whole dish came together so well with the flavours complimenting each other. I did thicken the orange sauce a little as it was just too runny otherwise. I served mine with spicy wedges, peas & corn and it was delicious.  This is a little beauty for entertaining.  I made the harissa paste the night before and the orange sauce could be made in advance as could the carrot puree - both just reheated on the day - although I found mine came together very well.  Mind you I didn't have anyone in my kitchen distracting me as visitors would do ;)  I've frozen the leftover carrot puree and orange sauce for next time.  There definitely will be a next time.

5/5 for sure for this recipe - economical too.

For those who do not have the 2012 calendar here's the recipe on Recipe Community.
