Welcome to the forum and congratulations on buying a TM. You'll find you will use it more than any other appliance in the house and it is a true godsend for cooking in general! I know everyone on the forum sounds biased as we are all converts and we have all been though the trepidation phase about the cost of a TM but I have saved so much money by having one- the reduction in grocery bills by itself is well worth it and I definitely eat more healthily and above all, you know exactly what goes into your food. Finally, the ability to cook things you would not have even contemplated without a TM is worth the price alone. Good luck and enjoy your cooking adventures!

Welcome. I agree Merlin, the cost is soon forgotten with the savings, both $$ and time.

Welcome GG
I initially got invited to a demo by my sister in law saying 'come for a free 3 course meal' (which was actually more like 5 course anyway!) So that's what I said to my friends: don't feel pressure to buy, but just come and enjoy the food, and everyone has a great evening with the delicious food & good company, they will be amazed to see the TMX in action

'Alice' arrived on thursday. She is named after Alice from the Brady bunch! I am sure she will be just as helpful.
Already Alice and I are cooking up a storm with mainly success. Vege stock concentrate, pumpkin soup ( needs some tweaking) tomato and salami fetuccini, bread rolls, choc cake and the quiche Lorraine (pastry undercooked). I love porridge for breakfast too!
Unfortunately i have been sick with a cold so Alice has had a rest but we will be busy again tomorrow!

I hope you are feeling better soon GG and can get back into your cooking. Good going so far with just a couple of hiccups by the sounds of things.

Whenever I hear that name I think of Alice from the Vicar of Dibley
I hope you get well soon GG so you can get back in the kitchen with Alice. Sounds like you've already given her a good workout!

Believe me it will pay for itself in so many ways, not just money but in better health. With the demo just invite your friends, tell them there is no pressure and enjoy a lovely feed in good company. My demonstrator knew that nobody else would be buying but people go away and think about it and may come back to her later. She is actually doing us another demo on the Varoma tomorrow night. The customer service and education is second to none.
