Julia here is a food brush for you then. I bought it at a gun shop.

The Sunday papers lie unopened as I trawl through Gert's forays into a gun shop.  Thanks for the steer Cuilidh.  (BTW, I am not far from Guildford)

I think I will stick to the brushes which come with the spatulas but will wait until I actually buy a TNX.  After all, I may be totally unimpressed with the demonstration next Saturday . . .  ;D ;D ;D

JB, I like the look of the dough cloth and will think of getting that too.  I wasn't advocating the Sonic Scrubber for the TMX - just the bathroom taps.  I have another in the kitchen for the knobs on the hob.

Now, there is a gun shop on the outskirts of  the village - scary looking place with barred windows and dark blinds so you can't see in.  Maybe, just maybe I will go in and ask to look at . . . brushes! Ha, ha.

I use my DH electric toothbrush for around the taps.

Oh, I see re Sonic Scrubber.  I will try Gert's idea and hunt for a gun shop  ;D The couche cloths are very good and stiff enough to stay ruched by themselves and not flop over the bread.  In spite of what they say on the website, I do wash mine, rather than just shake off the flour as have a phobia about it attracting weevils, but I put it through a cold wash, on its own, with no detergent  as I don't want my dough to smell scented.
