As per instructions. I would say JD.

I'm feeling adventurous today and I am not one to be defeated so I have a batch of the amended recipe melting moments in the oven... I will let you know how they turn out!

Nothing of the sort.  Leave me alone, please - be grateful for small mercies.  I was trying to help.  If what I wrote is not good enough, I'm sorry.

What is that all about Ros?

And....

Success! They 'melt' in your mouth the way a melting moment should! I haven't iced them yet and I don't think I will. They're lovely just as they are. 4/5

To anyone that is going to make these, please make sure you use the amended recipe.

Good to know they worked out nicely. I'll make some tomorrow now. Poor little Martha...
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Why poor Martha? Surely the mistake was not hers. Anyway I thought  Martha we a grown up,teenager.. She should be very proud to have  her recipe in the book.

Well done Martha I say. Everybody loves melting moments.

No, I meant poor Martha that her recipe was incorrect.  She's listed as being 12 years old.
I'd be upset if my recipe was put into a recipe book incorrectly!

Yeah it a bummer but that was about 3 years ago. I think Marrha is around 15 now.  Another bit of missed editing I guess.

I made these biscuits today using the corrections.  I doubled the recipe which meant that I had to do a slight mix by hand at the end but they turned out great!!!!   I did find that in my oven they only needed 17 minutes cooking time.   Will be making them again   5/5
