Morning everyone.  CC good to hear your MIL is a little better.
Mcmich . . .are you ok after last night's storm?

Yes, all in one piece thanks GF. We had a river running through the back of the property. DH was unblocking drains. The small leak in the granny flat ceiling turned into a big one and the ceiling has colasped.

How about you GF?

Sounds as though you have enough to contend with, mcmich - the wind and rain here became pretty violent around midnight and early morning- but it's quite calm now thank heavens.  No damage that I've found . .   Is that the granny flat your SD was in??

Good that you are ok GF. Yes, it's the lounge area that collapsed. No one in there thank goodness.
