Amy, do you cover Clinker at night?  Was the mouse after his seed?

Poor you Amy you need to catch that mouse.  :o Do you have a cat?

No, we don't have a cat MF :-\ I sat up most of the night with a pile of shoes, and every time I saw the mouse I threw a shoe at it :-)) Seemed like a good idea at midnight, but a bit hopeless now! ;D

Amy, do you cover Clinker at night?  Was the mouse after his seed?

Yes, I do cover him Judy but I always leave a bit uncovered so he can see out if I turn the light on. He gets spooked otherwise. I'm not sure if the mouse was after his seed or the shredded newspaper I put in his cage... :(

I've just moved Clinker into the laundry and I've vaccumed my entire floor. Pulled out all the furniture and got all the seed out. Not sure where the little mouse is hiding but I've put some bait out now... I hate finding dead things though :-X

Amy we use sand from the beach for our birds. It seems less mess than newspaper as Olly just rips that to shreds.

Do you just put it in the bottom of his cage Cookie?

Suzanne, I was mighty tempted, but I couldn't leave Clinker :-))

Oh Amy - you are not havign a good run with things are you?
I hope you catch the mouse.

They opened Aldi at my local shopping centre today - we went in and did a bit of shopping. It was so busy! I don't know if our carpark is going to cope with all the new traffic. If it was as chaotic as it was at lunhtime I can only IMAGINE what it's going to be like from 3pm - 7pm when kids get out of school and everyone is heading home from work.  :o

Kim - You are making me sad! I received an invite from my cousin for her wedding in Brittany today. I am not far enough in with TMX that I am making money and having not worked since Jan it's a no go for us. I was so looking forward to it when she first told me because I have never been overseas and I thought France would be the ultimate destination. One day.

Yes Amy, we just cover the base of his cage with it. Fairly thick so that when you change it all the guck just goes with it.

Lol Kimmy :D We used to use lolly snakes, mice love them and we could get rid of the yucky green ones ;D

Thanks for the tips Cookie, Jadey and CC :-* I have a couple of jars of peanut butter in the pantry so I guess I can spare a smear ;)

Oh jadey sorry.. Not knocking france just after living there for so long (europe) the winters get you down!! Its pretty for 5 mins and if your not used to it the excitement would make it a bitof an adventure but when you have to go to the shops or pick up the kids from school or go to the doctors etc a d driving or even walking in that kind of weather is an at your own risk outing.. Its no fun.. Thats what i meant and cc is quite aware what i am on about ... Anyone going on a holiday would most likely enjoy themselves as its short term however living in,it long term is another issue... Summers are also quite short compared to oz.. Brittany or bretagne is lovely.. My inlaws are in the gulf de morbihan.. A very beautiful part of france.. Where is your cousins wedding at?

Cc all friends are well.. Usually when it gets too bad everyone stays home otherwise you risk spending hours in your car as you literally cant move as you know and just slide all over the place or end up sleeping in a local gym or hall for the night... Ahhh the fun of ice and snow.. Do not envy everyone in uk/ france at the moment :(
