Morning Marina i hope everything goes well. what is trigger finger i have never heard of it b4
My understanding is that the tendon of your finger (in the palm side of your hand) becomes too large for the sheath it goes through so that when you release a clenched fist your finger doesn't open smoothly - it 'jrerks' open - like a tirgger.  It's a horrible, horrible feeling.  Michele (and our other nursing friends) don't laugh too hard at my description, medical terminology has never been my strong point!

Thanks for your good wishes - I'm not looking forward to this next week as I have been warned that it will be sore and I absolutely hate taking pain killers, but maybe I will give in and take one or two.

Off for my last (pain free) shower for a while and heading to the hospital in 1/2 an hour.

You did well in your description Marina. My advise. TAKE THE PAIN KILLERS!

That sounds painful Marina, hope all goes well and you can enjoy your few days off - that'll be a nice change for you, a forced rest.  All the best my dear  :-* :-*

Marina I hope things go well for you. I had a trigger finger 'released' when I had carpal Tunnel done. I was lucky, i had virtually no pain at all. I hope you are the same.
