Oh no Gert, get better quickly. I have been swallowing lots of garlic tablets, echinacea and zinc and multi vitamins  as my poor DD is still battling her bug. Keep getting a hint of a sore throat and dry cough but I am NOT getting anything.
Hugs Gert x

Morning all.  Hope all who have got bugs can fight them off before the Fest.  We are packing and  putting things in order for while we are away.  Not sure how much we can post while away,  but will try.  First stop Istanbul.

Safe travels, Chookie and Ral.  Hope you get the interesting views you were wanting from your hotel window in Istanbul, Ral!

We'll look forward to hearing your stories and seeing your photos as and when you get a chance to post them.

Hello all.
Collected more sheep today, tried to clear duck weed from the pond ( it was a sea of bright green) and then we cut back most of the climbing roses. my friend loves jobs like that and she suggested it. All great stuff.

Puppy got into the sheep again last night, he did better this time and is definitely a sheep dog. Looks good for later on. We have blocked up all the gaps we can find. Be safer after we moved sheep around tomorrow. They have all been wormed and dosed for flies.

Some of the migrating birds seem to have gone. The nest by the back door is only occupied at night now. Hard to tell with the higher nests. T is certainly quieter in the garden, or perhaps they're out flying and feeding further away. I will look more closely this week.

You will be coming to spring soon as we go towards winter......  Hopefully a mild autumn while we do the plumbing and heating and windows!

Hi DJ, it will certainly pay to get as many outside jobs done before your winter hits.  It sounds like everything is going along nicely over there and you seem to be in your element with so many projects on your plate.

Morning all. :) A cold windy day here.

The wind broke the guy wire on the neighbours television antenna late yesterday afternoon.  Neighbours are away so we had to tie the wire to the fence so that the antenna didn't fall down on our roof. :o  Haven't really met the neighbours yet, they are very quiet and we rarely see them.  Looks like we will be meeting as soon as they come home.
