Oh MF I do know about snoring DH's and you have BIG sympathies.... This time of year it is getting too cold, especially with no heating, to get up at 3 am and make tea, so I usually just try to huddle under bedclothes!

Hello all. Evening CC.
The windows are finally finished, just as the first storm of the autumn has hit. We will eventually need 2 new external doors as the draughts all come in there now.
Enjoyed a lamb hotpot mAde in the Aga tonight. Just about got the living room back so we can eat, sit etc in it, been without for three weeks. The kitchen will be bombed again for plastering of the window recesses and building the units, so apart from anything in the Aga I will be cooking in the living room a bit longer.

Ordered a whole lamb for freezer, coming tomorrow. Next year we will have our own lambs. Slow roasted shoulder for Friday night I think. DD favourite. Freezers very full as no proper cooking since end of June!

Am sitting in a very quiet house ATM - give it 10 more minutes and the school morning breakfast time will begin.  :)

Morning all.  Nice to be back into something like the old routine and taking interest in what everyone is doing.

Morning all.  It's turned cold here again today. :(
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Good morning ladies :)

I still smile when I think of my chance meeting with MF :D

Judy is right. We would not have the pleasure of a giggle on Monday evening, if not for the meet-up at Ikea.

Kids are back at school. Slowly getting back to normal routine but every now and then someone would be wishing for the holidays. Me too...but I've got to keep the brave Mummy face on. Hahaha.

Now. To the million dollar question: what shall I cook for dinner tonight??
