No more cocaine in hospitals, other effective and not so 'difficult' medications used these days thank goodness!  Nosebleeds are still a nuisance but there are plenty of treatment options

Morning all.  Lovely and cool here.  Fires still burning across the state.  None near here,  thank goodness.  Will do a little cooking today.  DIL coming tomorrow for lesson on TMX.  Will make  the Thai Chicken recipe,  risotto and Isi's Coffee cream dessert.   Thanks to all who provided ideas and recipes.
Michele,  we leave our documents on the car during the fire season.  From experience,  we have found that we don't function very well in a panic situation.  We grab other things if we have time.  Several of our neighbors hire a storage unit at a storage centre,  for the Summer. We also have to provide a large tank of water that the CFA can access if needed.
Hope the cool weather has reached all and our UK friends have respite from the rain.

Morning everyone - it was cool enough this morning to go for my morning walk - first time in a week - and I was rewarded by seeing a koala walk across the lane in front of me and climb up a tree, and then 2 kangaroos hopping down the lane beside me.  And then the kookaburras were laughing at me.  I think the wildlife is enjoying the cool change too!

Sounds lovely Karen. Must be nice to live in an area surrounded by widelife. It's cool here now so I went for a run. The only widelife I saw were dogs off their leashes!

Karen what a lovely walk.  I am so glad you are all cooler. It is starting to heat up here again. 37 today. Much better than the 40‘s for sure.

Morning all,  Karen,  I saw that there were fires in the Adelaide hills and was hoping that they weren't near you.  Nice to see the native animals around again.   We leave the fountains going and the birds all come for a bath and drink.  Nice to be cool again.
