Weather this week has been in the mid to high 20's, think its due to heat up a bit over the next few weeks, are you going to any fringe events while you're here?

Oh thanks CC. Have been through two Hoover bags today.
BZB the sanding was a breeze as we sealed the door with tape. It did take me 4 hours to clean the empty room though today, reading for wax oil on the floor and paint on the walls.
It is the laminate flooring, sawing and cutting in an old unsquare house that has made the mess. Passage and kitchen still to be done. We were having something else in kitchen but this matches the rest and will look better.

Dj the end must now be visable for you. 2014 is going to be your year, although i am finding it hard to believe we are now in march.

Western Australia has a long weekend this weekend. The holiday is for Labour Day to celebrate the 8 hour day.

That's lousy Bonsai. DD has just spent time on call. I guess someone has to do it.

Morning all.  Gert have a great time at the Festival.  DJ,  at least they are making progress.  Girls in Perth,  enjoy your get together. Emme,  Hope you are feeling a little better.
Yesterday I spoke about Preserving at the Farmers Market.  Seemed to go well.  Came home with lots of plums, rhubarb, cucumbers and we were talked into  having 3 WOOFers for 3 days next week.  These are 3 German young people who work  on farms for free board and food.  It is an International programmer and many people in our area have them .  We are taking them for 3 days to give another family  a break.  They would have had them for 3 weeks straight.  I am looking forward to it.  I will be able to cook up a storm.

How exciting chookie, an acquaintance  of mine in Scotland has woofers often. I think we could do with some here..... Still haven't done my winter pruning... That is on this week's list.
Have put some grains to soak tonight for bread tomorrow. Here's hoping I don't get interrupted .
