We have had some rain today; not very much mind you but it was still water dripping from the sky. We were so excited last night when it started and didn't even complain when there was a drip, drip noise on the pateo where it was hitting something plastic. It seems so long since we have had any.

Morning all. Hope it rains today so I can stay inside and bake.
Well, that didn't happen, Chookie.  But it is a notable request from someone living up your way!  Maybe you will get your wish tomorrow!

Good morning (only just) ladies, I'm trying to organise a day out with 3 of my former carer friends. Lunch and a movie or movie & coffee afterwards.  We won't know the session times for Thursday until tomorrow afternoon so that's another factor in play.  Gosh, it's so much easier to just do things on your own  ;D  I've asked the girls to keep Thursday free until we find out the times and now have 2 on board, waiting to hear back from the 3rd.  They were thrilled that I'm trying to organise something with them - I've already forgotten how that feels and how much they all love to get away from the carer roles for a girls day out.

I hope it all works out for you and your friends Judy. Being a carer is a 24 hour job. You are all worth your weight in gold.
Absolutely deserving of some relaxing time away from the routine.

I'm sure you will get it sorted out Judy. Enjoy yourselves.
