Had a bit of a giggle today. DH refers to the forum as "the boyfriend" E.G. "you're are out with the boyfriend again".
Then he asked about how much time I actually spend here? I didn't tell him about being terminated and having to re-join. So I showed him my hours on the forum which was 4 and my posts which were 18.  ;D

There is just something lovely about a clean slate and a fresh start.  ;D

So not quite the boyfriend this time around Michele, just at the 'getting friendly' stage.

I must be married to the forum with 248 days, 1 hours and 4 minutes :-))

And quite the long and happy marriage it has been for you Judy.  :D

For me it was like we had a disagreement and are now it's all sorted.   ;D

Having you back on here is the main thing Michele, numbers are just that and in the scheme of things are not important.

I was never concerned about the post numbers. I might be being a little presumptuous but I think most regular posters would know who I am.
The only thing that might come against the numbers is if I wanted to enter a competition. Having said that, I have only entered one for Courton's apron. I don't need any more stuff. I'm sure the forum would give me a get out of gaol free card if I did want to enter a comp.  :D

Most definitely Michele, an explanation would be added to your entry from a Moderator so that other 'newbies' didn't think we were showing favouritism.  We certainly police that particular rule.

Oh Gert, you've blown it with the air fryer.  I have been trying so so so hard not to buy one because it looks so tempting (and you were my inspiration to be strong) ... I will join the other strong ones now and hope I can continue to resist it.

Astarra, do you think the Phillips has any advantages over yours?

Well, the Tefal has the paddle which goes around in the center of it, which means I can't do things like pizzas etc - I can cook in it (unevenly) without the paddle but it still has the spindle up the center, seeing the pics in the AF thread just make me realise more what Phillips can do that Tefal can't! Still, it works well and gets used alot so I'm not complaining.  :)

Cannot change the temp on mine either, one set temp the whole time....which can be a nuisance.  :-\
