Morning all.
Have been watching the Adelaide fires and hoping all are safe. Was 21 overnight here which is very warm, and 38 today.  They are indeed very brave and dedicated people who fight the fires.

The fires sound awful, take care.

These recipes seem good http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/programmes/b03mzc66

Using a slow cooker for lots of them, maybe not in these temps, but thought you'd like to see them.

I've just heard an update on the fire in the Adelaide Hills. Stay safe girls, my thoughts are with you. Sending hugs. I find fire quite terrifying.

This is the view from our backdoor of of the smoke from the fires.  We are ready to leave, but waiting to see what the winds do.  From what I hear on the radio, Amanda lives in an area that has been told to evacuate.  Thinking of her and her family.

Karen I am thinking of you and your family. Amanda had a photo of the smoke on her Instagram yesterday. Take care of yourself and boys Karen. Sending a big West Aussie hug.

Our house looks like a hotel!!!  Friends arrived here at 1am followed by one of our daughters and her family who were evacuated.  The fire is quite close from here but unless it decides to head down the creek we should be fine.  The Fire authority meeting at 11am said that people should not return to their homes until at least tomorrow.
Karen just heard that your neck of the woods have been put on standby to evacuate.  Stay safe.
Amanda, thinking of you.
