Thanks for the information Karen and Trudy, have been wondering who is affected.  I had seen where Balhannah had been evacuated but had not heard that the Stirling area was mentioned. Thinking of you all and hoping for the best outcome, stay safe everyone.

I'm watching ABC 24. Have just heard that Gumeracha is under ember attack and that the big rocking horse is in trouble. Such a beautiful part of SA. We have stayed at Cudlee Creek many times.

Thank you all for your thoughts and concern  :-*  The danger has passed for us and our home now, but the fires are still out of control and are a big threat to other people.

I have heard from Amanda - they did evacuate, but are back home now and are safe.

Evening, everyone, terrible day a strong dirty wind ,hot and fires around,  heard about 8 sirens as vehicles headed towards the Hastings fire about 9 kilometers away but blowing away from us.  The cool change is here but so far no rain for us.hope everyone is safe.
