I'm glad your air con is fixed Bedlam. We haven't had ours on for several days now as the weather has been lovely.
Take care CC in the nasty weather. Are you getting it too DJ?

Good afternoon/evening friends.
Good morning DJ.I hope you survived the night in these very high winds.
Still dark outside just waiting to see what damage is out there. We live near a wood so I reckon there will be debris everywhere. We lost power for a brief moment last night.

Bit of a slog on my walk this morning
Loads of branches off tress and a neighbour has a fence down.DH's workshop roof took a battering with one corner needing urgent attention as the felt has lifted. The good news is that we still have power

Good thing DH is a handyman Denise, he'll have that workshop fixed in no time. It sounds like a good day to be indoors though.

Morning all.
CC, sounds like a rough night. Stay safe and warm.
Love this cool weather here. We lit the fire yesterday.
Thought I had finally killed my SD starter . The thermostat on the second fridge is playing up and freezing every thing, including the starter. Took it out and said some kind words to it , when it thawed fed it and it is bubbling away again. Will make a loaf today to celebrate.

Goodmorning everyone
Hello CC & DJ
Glad the damage was not too great CC. Good thing DH can do the repairs. Stay warm & safe
Good thing your starter is still alive Chookie, I think it must take a lot to kill it.
Glad you are feeling better DJ, take care

Good morning everyone! Another lovely cool day here but looks like the rain has now finished.
Glad you didn't get too much damage CC and hope your husband can repair the shed roof as to bring in trades people costs a fortune.
So pleased Chookie your starter didn't die. It must be several years old now and what I have read it keeps getting better with age.
DJ any damage your way?
Glaf your aircon is fixed Bedlam.
