Lucky you Marie,  it's great that you could see the specialist on the same day.

Fingers crossed for you Trudy! That's a quick appointment for an MRI.

You were so lucky to get in so quickly Marie.  I had a friend with the same problem last year and they acted very quickly then as well.  She was fine so fingers crossed you will be the same.  It's marvoulous what they can do these days, isn't it?

Judy, I could have had the MRI tomorrow morning at 7am at Wakefield Street but didn't wan't the appointment that early!!!!!

Good morning everyone  ;D
Hello CC & DJ  ;D

Thanks ladies, the optometrist did not want me to leave town until I had been seen by the specialist.  Apparently there is an understanding that the specialist will see you on the same day if this sort of thing happens, so I was very lucky.   I had no idea that it could have been so serious.  Take care everyone

Oh Marie. Thank goodness they were able to fix it quickly. I have had a floater in my left eye for ages and ages but I see an ophthalmologist regularly as I have high pressure in my eyes. It seems to be naturally high as they have watched it for years. Possibly lead to Glaucoma one day. Eyes are so precious.
