Morning all.
Cold and wet Anzac morning here.
Denise I feel for you with all the decisions you are having to make. You will enjoy them when the house is finished.
Judy, go for it.  The cooking can wait.

Another lovely WA day here today. I'm listening to the dawn service at Gallipoli. I always feel closer to Dad on Anzac Day. There is no logical reason other than that he served in WW2. Even as a little kid I felt emotional at the school Anzac services. As a teacher I always had to have my sunglasses on so the kids couldn't see my tears.
Dad never spoke of the war, only their escapades. I guess that is me and I have learned to live with it.
DH and DD have taken the red terror down to see MIL. I am having a cook in.

Thanks Katj. So far I have bread on its second rise and just finished a batch of Anzacs. I made some last week but thought I would do some more using Chookie's Macadamia Anzac recipe. They look lovely.

Hi everyone.  On the way home from Port Pirie last night we called into Costco to pick up some bakers flour.  Was on our way to pick up some milk when I heard a voice calling my name.  Turned around and it was Katie & her Husband Richard.  Such a nice surprise!

It was lovely to run into Trudy and her DH. Nice to catch up.

After Judy's review of Costco we decided to join up. We were both a little overwhelmed by the size of the place, but we enjoyed our visit and definitely picked up some bargains.

I think it took me three trips there before I could work out just where everything is.  Also Katie, if you see something that you like then get it then as sometimes it only comes to the store just once.

Costco certainly sounds like fun.

I'll bet it was a surprise to bump into each other girls, it's such a big place and neither of you live anywhere near each other.  Katie was telling me that bakers flour is a real bargain Trudy.

We have had a snake lurking in the garage and house. Finally caught it yesterday. My friend Sue was not really impressed.

I don't blame her Gert :o  I'm afraid I would have been out of there in a flash, there's no room for me and a snake in the same house  ;D  How did you catch it?
