Good morning everyone, up early (for me anyway) as my mechanic has come to service the car.

Glad the gardeners are enjoying your food Chookie and how nice of the wife to send her thanks too. Are they local people?

Chookie sounds fantastic.  Although I'm sure your hot vege soup always goes down well hard work keeps you warm.  Glad you are happy with the results.
We have a little 4 year old joining us today for 3 weeks.  I will be pleased to get this first day over.  It is for respite as he is already in care until he is 18.  Although I invited them to come visit it hasn't happened and the carer suggested I pick him up from kindy.  Imagine how he must feel getting picked up from school and staying 3 weeks.
We have been available since November and this is only our 3rd placement, not sure what this means...
Have a great day everyone.

Have you met the little chap Denise?  I agree with you that she should have delivered him to you herself but all will be well I'm sure.  What child has not enjoyed his time with you!   Perhaps there hasn't been the need for respite care but Gert is right, they know you can handle anything and save the best for you. Have fun with him.

Enjoy your time with this little man Denise. I'm sure you will make a difference in his life even though his stay is short.

Just I am so pleased you and Geoff had a lovely lunch. It must be very enjoyable for Geoff to change his surroundings sometimes.
Chookie, you are so kind to give the gardeners a little snack, I'm sure they enjoyed it.
Denise, enjoy your little man. .hopefully his carer has told him all about you.

Hi friends.
A nice start to the day here :) Might be even warm. ;D

You certainly look after your gardeners Chookie.Nothing like hot soup and fresh bread on a miserable cold day.

Denise I hope your little man had a good start to his stay with you.Your caring nature will win him over :)

Denise, I would be worried for this little Chap as well but once he has spent a few hours with you I know he will love you!!

Chookie, glad your garden is coming together as you want.  I bet the gardeners loved how you spoilt them with lovely soup and bread!

The info on our little one said suffered separation anxiety but he has settled beautifully( so far).  Must confess to a lolly pop in my pocket at pick up time but hey a little treat never hurt anyone.  We had a big walk around the park and counted about 20 Roos, another little sweetner and in bed with a story for 7.15.  Wish me luck for a full nights sleep.

Morning all.
Bedlam,  they say kids and dogs know.  He will respond to your wonderful care.
Cold, wet and dark here.
Gardeners having a day off. Mud everywhere, but starting to look fab.
Cookie, did I see fresh fish for Dinner. .?
CC, a little sun shine, how nice!
