Good Morning. It's been a while since I've been on the forum. Lost interest in cooking lately.
Hope everyone is well. Look forward to catching up.

My washing machine died this afternoon.I'll have to get a new one ASAP.Not sure which one to buy.I had better read some reviews to see which is a good buy.

Morning all.
Family around for Fathers Day.
CC, we recently bought an Asko washing machine. Front loader, very happy with it.

Good morning everyone.  I hope all Dads have a great day.

Good luck with searching for a new washer Denise.

I was only thinking of you the other day Michelle, thanks for popping in to say hello.

Denise, sorry to hear about your washer, it really is an absolute necessity to replace immediately.
We have abut Simpson 9kg, I can fit donnas in comfortably. My mum always had Simpsons when I was a kid and I've had a few over the years. Not sure if they are available in UK.

Thankfully that won't happen too often Katj.  I know my DD2 doesn't like it when her birthday occasionally falls on Mothers' Day,  especially when it's her turn to have family over for lunch.

Sorry to read about your washing machine CC. It's not a thing we can do without.
Katj I always had Simpson machines until I went to a front loader. I had an LG which barely lasted the guarantee period and now have a Bosch.

Evening friends.
I'm late logging on today as we had visitors staying overnight.Just DD,SIL and GS who decided to stay with us en-route from their holiday to their home.Thank goodness that I had made a chili and had dessert in the freezer. :)

I'm seriously thinking of buying a Bosch Cookie.A 9kg front loader. As Katj says these 9kg babies can take a duvet :D I better get it bought as the washing is already piling up :-))

We've got a Simpson top loader, had it for 20 years now and apart from having to replace the pump last year it has not given us any trouble at all.

The bigger the better Denise. When I was looking at the Villa I bought it was the only one in the complex that actually had room for a big washing machine and I was not willing to give up my brand new 9 kg Smart Samsung. I love it to bits and I need only to use it 3 or 4 times a month!  Sounds crazy but I have plenty of undies!  It easily takes all my doggie beds at once. I can do two queen  sets of heavy hotel quality sheets with ease.
