I need to get on with a little de cluttering too Robyn, but in my case it is getting rid of junk that I have accumulated in the last few weeks. Things I have just popped here for now. Most of it can go straight into the bin.

Chookie it must be horrid not using the kitchen, but I fully understand.
We have lovely weather at the moment, I will send it over.

As my new home is so small and lacking in storage and other space there will be not nothing entering this house that does not comply with requirements.!

I had a skylight put in the kitchen/living area as there is only one sliding door and no window. I am soooooo much happier now. $850 well spent. It is casting rainbows into my kitchen so an added bonus and the job took only 40 minutes with NO mess.

I have the air conditioning on this morning as I had an early game of bowls and was stuffed!

Good to hear you've joined the bowlers Gert and skylights certainly do the job.  Did you get the model with a blind that can block the sun out in summer?

No it is not that sort Judy . This is a Solar thingy called an opti view and has lots of facets and absorbs any heat. I will need this year round. Best thing ever apart from the new roller blinds and panel blinds I have bought to replace crap venetians and a heavy looking brown drape. I ain't spending the rest of my life cleaning blinds. These are yet to arrive but will also make the place lighter during the day and darker at night which is needed as the security lights shine in my bedroom at night.

Oh yes I am looking for a stick on the back of a door full length mirror. Any ideas?

I stuck one on the back of a door once with double sided tape and it slid off Gert so I'm no help I'm afraid.

Oops.

To get a view of what I am wearing I have to stand on. Step ladder and look into a mirror I put on a wall outside. It is shaped like an apple. Very apt.

Gert, very proud of you. Sounds like you are just about sorted. Love your new car too, pretty colour.
I need lots of positive thoughts, even though our house isn't officially on the market yet, we have a second viewing Thursday.  These people will allow us to stay until our house is ready.  Deals like this tend to only happen to others so although I am not holding my breathe, I am wishing.
Good luck to you and Ral, Chookie, hoping your home sells quickly.

Good morning all, do the hardware stores have stick on mirrors Gert. ;)

My DD has just gone to Cairns now to go to Farnora (another oldies place) to fix the pump.

All good here, great weather.

Bedlam stay positive. These things do happen. I was blessed to be able to move gradually and never had to actually pack anything just pop it into the car and put it in the new place. I also let the new owner completely paint the whole house while I just moved myself around to an empty room so sleep. Wound up just camping . I think this gave me some good karma and I was thrilled for the new lovely owner.

Selling and buying does not have to be stressful if all parties have the  right attitude and are able to communicate without the real estate agents  interfering as they are wont to do. I am sure it will be fine as good things happen to good people and you are certainly one of those.
