We had 32 in Perth yesterday Judy, wet and stormy today. I think it will be wet tomorrow night for the football., which I think will favour Hawks a little.

I'll be interested to see how the thermomix goes in the US. What do you think Gert? Will they support it?

Chookie will you have an established garden at your new place?

Summer was here yesterday. (32 degrees) but today is overcast with wet weather predicted. It is quite windy too. I'm sure Suzanne enjoyed yesterday.
Oh cookie I certainly did but then today wet, cold and windy, miserable

Hi friends.
It's a beautiful day here.
A lovely walk with Chance and no horses this morning so didn't need to roll under the fence ;D

I bet MEP will be pleased with the news about the Thermomix in USA.

Summers nearly here for you Suzanne ;)

32 is too hot for me Katj but I know I'd better get used to it as summer will be on it's way before we know it.

I think it will all depend on how they market it. Their marketing in Canada is hopeless with the two distributors selling to different markets with different language. Chinese on the west coast and French on the East coast. Never the twain will they meet the English speaking Canadians and that is why the Thermomix is not so well known in Canada. If they had sorted that out years ago they may have had a better inroad to the U.S. Market. Of course the Canadians have been selling into the U.S. For years but not openly.

Will Vorwerk use the same selling method in the USA or will they get smart?  My feeling is they have no idea how to go about it in that market. They have not even got a web site yet which is not a good start. .  How many distributors will they have?  They need to pay for some professional bloggers or buy some decent blogging sites though I doubt they have the expertise on board to manage that.

More than anything they need to make sure the machine is flawless. The Americans will not put up with the crap we had to. They expect a perfect machine and a service where the customer is
ALWAYS RIGHT. Both of which is sadly lacking here.

I wonder how many Australian machines actually had to go back for repairs and tweaking.

You are so right Gert, they won't put up with crap, and there is so much more competitors in the market now.

All good here, its Friday, weekend is planned.. ;D

Morning all.
15 here today but with a north wind.
Bruce and Mandy are taking us up to Bendigo to pick up our repaired car.
Cookie, the new house has a very well established garden. Big veggie garden with shade cloth around the fence for wind protection, and a large polly tunnel. No raised beds though. No wicking beds either.

Gert, it is difficult to believe that the marketing and service can be so poor.  How about a second jug for us deprived Aussies?

Good morning everyone, another lovely day here. Enjoy your weekend.

I just googled what to do with rosehips Denise, the first thing I opened had 25 ideas. Wow, so many things, even dog biscuits!  Do you pick them for any recipes?

It is a lovely colourful photo CC. I have to admit that Rosehip Oil is one of my favourite things.

Lovely photo CC.  My old aunt used to make up a syrup of some sort from rosehips many years ago, although I'm not sure what she used it for.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
