I'm loving the rain too Jeninwa. I'm sure your DS and family will have a wonderful holiday Chookie.
Robyn are the children's horses ponies or full size horses?  Will they be near you?

Robyn, you've taken on a big responsibility buying 2 horses.  Are they in a paddock close to your home so the kids can feed them and tend to them without you having to drive them?
Lucky kids!

Morning all.
20 degrees here already and 33 today.  Don't like the hot weather. I feel for all the Adelaide people yesterday being so hot. Might have to make iced coffee today.

Wow!  2 horses.  Lucky children Obbie  :)

I'm having a rare morning off from walking down the beach.  We went to a Christmas function last night and didn't get home until very late.  I still woke at the usual time (4.30) but had a lie in for a change.  ;D

Going to be 40 here today, but I don't have to go out anywhere which is nice, will just catch up on things at home.  :)

There big, and tall, not ponys at all. close to home,

the kids can ride up on their motorbikes, about 1 klm up the road. my friend has 3 others , so  now 5 all together in her paddocks.
I'lll get photos today and post.  :)  It will keep them busy I hope.

Good morning everyone, 41 expected here today so I'll be doing absolutely nothing except packing a lunch and visiting Geoff and Mum.  Cookie for once we really need you to send your cooler conditions over to us please.

It was so cool in Perth last night, I got the doona out, which had been washed and packed away for the Summer.
More rain overnight and today I think.
Judy, I wouldn't want your 41' I feel for you. It is supposed to reasonable all week here which is good for cooking shortbread, Chrissie cake etc.

Good morning everyone.  We have 27 forecast for here today.  I feel sorry for those experiencing temps in the 40's, not my kind of weather at all.

Judy I have heard your request and it is on it's way. It was beautiful here yesterday, cool and raining. So much so that the annual Christmas Pageant was cancelled. I feel for all those that were to participate in it and also all those that had promised to take their children. Quite sad.

Today it is raining and cool again. So beautiful.

I feel so sorry for all of you with the heat. Try and stay cool. ( says she with a jumper on). I detest heat. Take care everyone.

Robyn tell your children to take care riding with riding their motor bikes up the road to the horses. Their Nan from the west knows how dangerous it can be. I also know what we used to get up to on our motor bikes on the farm. Roads are dangerous places.

Yesterday we did our first run taking instruments, cases and general bits and pieces out of the shop we are closing in 2 week's time.  Hired a big van, loaded it to the gunnels and headed off.  Horrible, hot day for work like that, but good to get some of the initial clearing done.  We close our doors on 23 December so DH and I will be working through Xmas eve / Xmas day and on until everything is cleared out and the premises are cleared, cleaned and ready for handover by 31 December.  DH and I will be so relieved when it is all over - we might even manage a few days break before we re-open in January.

Marina that sounds like hot, hard, heavy work. But I'm sure you would never trust it to anyone else. I hope the weather is kind for you.
It will be a great achievement when it is completed. Where is the new shop?
