I hope everyone is having a great day whatever they choose to do.
DH & I headed to IKEA early this morning to look at a few things for our new place, they were giving away $10 meal vouchers for those dressed in Aust gear. We were not, but were given one anyway. DH had a pretty decent size breakfast, we both had a hot cinnamon scroll and a coffee. With discount it came to $2.40.

An Australia Day treat Katj.   :D

DH and I went into Newcastle, it was very busy but we were treated to a wonderful air/boat show. We took a picnic and had a great day.

Good evening all.
Missed logging in this morning as we had to head off to Melbourne early.
Traffic awful, had eye injection and came home and rested up for a couple of hours and now nearly back to normal.
Getting warm again.

That's really muddy CC.
Glad you are feeling better chookie.
Our children go back to school Friday. Two more sleeps!
We had a storm come through Geelong today. Reports are saying once in a 100 years type of storm. Here is a photo of our town park and another 30mins later! The world is seeing extremes in weather at the moment.

I heard about the storm, my brother lives in Geelong. We waited for it to get to us, but it was a bit pathetic when it arrived (outer northern suburbs of Melbourne). I took my stuff off the line though.

You are very brave Chookie. I'm another one who shudders at the thought.
