Your poor son CC hopefully he will be on the mend soon.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Good morning everyone.

That's terrible news Denise, how is he managing with both arms now affected?

Denise, your poor son. What a disaster to have both wrists broken.
When my youngest DS was 4 1/2, unbeknown to me, he climbed on the roof to get a frisbee down, he slid off (metal roof) and put his arms out like superman. He broke both arms, it was not fun having him in plaster for 5 weeks. He started kindergarten shortly after the fall so his participation in activities was very limited.
Chookie, fingers crossed for the interested open house looker.

Denise, your poor son. I really feel for him. Will he come and stay with you for a bit?
You must be exhausted with GS and DS to care for. Take care all of you.

Thanks girls :-* :-*

Oh no CC, thats really bad, how long will the recovery take?
Hope he gets well soon!!!
They say it should start feeling better in two weeks but six weeks for a complete recovery.

Good morning everyone.

That's terrible news Denise, how is he managing with both arms now affected?
His left arm up to the elbow is in a plaster cast. His right arm is in a splint. He's managing quite well but is still in a lot of discomfort. He's finding gripping objects the most challenging thing.

Denise, your poor son. I really feel for him. Will he come and stay with you for a bit?
You must be exhausted with GS and DS to care for. Take care all of you.
He's insisted on living at his own house.I've been there everyday to help out with household chores.I'm back tomorrow to cook as he has some fresh food that needs using up.
DD has taken extra days off and has returned home with GS for three days.GS returns on Sunday to stay for three nights.

Looks like keeping track of everything and everyone is a full time job just now!  So long as DS takes care of himself and doesn't push himself too soon it sounds like he will make a good recovery.  Take care of yourself as well.

Morning all.
CC, I am sorry I made a mistake about who had the bike accident. You certainly have your hands full. Poor DS hope he isn't in too much pain.
We are fast heading into spring here, days a bit warmer and sun is shining. Another Open day this coming Saturday and then family here for Fathers Day lunch on Sunday.

Good morning everyone, welcome to spring.
I would have misled you with my comment Chookie, sorry about that.
You're going to be a very busy lady Denise and I'm sure DS will appreciate all your help. Please pass on our best wishes to him.

Good luck with this weekend's open day, Chookie, your garden should be looking brilliant at the moment so will undoubtedly make a positive impression on any visitors.
