Hi everyone, lovely photos CC. I'd love a slab of Parmesan as a gift. Good luck with your open house Chookie.
Not looking forward to 37 today. I don't cope as well with the heat as I use to.

I'm like you Jeninwa. I don't think I've liked the heat for at least 20+ years. 32 and under I can cope, anything above......

Fingers crossed for a successful open house Chookie.
Gorgeous pics Denise.
Feeling a bit weary here in Sydney and it's quite hot.
After the dinner fiasco last night I still don't know whether to be cranky or flattered. After a long week and DS18 barely able to eat due to his braces being tightened, thought I'd cheat and buy ready-made pasta and sauce from the supermarket for the family (I was happy with egg on sourdough). Everyone complained and DS22 and DD20 refused to eat it
I crossly told them that I'd give it to the chooks who would no doubt appreciate it.
The bratty chooks turned their fussy little beaks up at it
Gives a new meaning to egg on face
.
Have a great weekend

Gosh it must have been bad if the chooks refused it Gayle! That's the last time you'll buy that for them.

Gayle DH and I had a lovely chuckle at your dinner. That's the one problem with a thermomix, if you can call it a problem, lovely food.

Good morning everyone, we had a scorcher in Perth yesterday 37. DD came over and the 3 GK's spent the afternoon swimming in the pool at our village. It's a lovely big 25m pool so plenty of room. They have shade sails over the shallow end so it's great for keeping out of the sun. Only suppose to be 31 today, perfect.
Enjoy having your little GS Denise.😃

Morning all.
Djinni, loved the tale about the pasta. If the chooks didn't enjoy it it must have been awful.
2 visitors to Open Day.
CC, enjoy Louis. I'll bet he loves your cooking.
BIL loved his Parmesan. Also bought him a small piece of another hard Italian cheese. Can't remember the name but recommended by the sales man. A shocking price, $94 a kilo.
When I bought the cheese, they were slicing paper thin prosciutto. They gave me a sample, it was beautiful so I bought some and we had it wrapped around cantaloupe.

Good morning everyone. I"m feeling a bit down today, I have a nasty cold and my head feels like cotton wool. It must be the change in the weather from our warm holiday temps to the cold days we are having here.

Margaret I hope you are feeling much better very soon. It's no fun when you are miserable.

Get well soon Margaret, take it easy for now if you can. I've never heard that expression 'my head feels like cotton wool'.
