Good morning everyone.  Having a day at home today waiting for 2 tradesmen to come and fix a couple of problems. Hot one for the poor guy having to go onto the roof.  I've done numerous jobs whilst waiting so it has not been a wasted day.  Pity it's so hot, I could do a lot more out in the garden if it wasn't.

I love the hues of autumn.

As Katj said a bit warm here. This morning we picked DD up from work and took her to pick up her new car. She is now back at work.

Hi friends,
It started very sunny when I walked Chance this morning but a bank of clouds have moved over the skies so it's now dull.

Did the maintenance on your house get sorted Judy?

Yes thanks Denise,  the roller shutter problem was fixed and it looks like my roof will need to undergo a renovation.  The handyman has referred me to another chap and he is coming to look at it tomorrow night.

Good morning everyone. I enjoyed my day at home yesterday and getting jobs done at a slower pace, back to normal today.  Stay cool.

Good morning everyone.

Off to see a specialist today about my reflux problems.  Hopefully they can get to the bottom of it.

Reflux isn't fun, I hope you get it sorted Margaret. Since I have been truly careful with what I eat with the diabetes, my reflux has disappeared. It must have been my naughty eating habits.

Hi friends.
Dull day here. They say it will rain later :-)) A good walk with Chance this morning even though it's very muddy. With more rain heading our way it will be worse tomorrow.

Morning all.
Mab, I agree with Cookie. Since I have been on my Louise Parker eating programme my reflux has gone. It is the fat/ oil that partially causes my problem. I also take medication for it.
We are in for a week of warm weather, so of course I am making jelly again today. ,! Blackberry.
CC, love to hear what you are cooking. Just the opposite to what is going on here.
