Good morning everyone.

I saw the specialist yesterday for my reflux problems and now have to go for some x-rays.  I have tried all sorts of medication, had a gastroscopy, been careful with my eating habits and nothing has worked.  This has been going on for far too long (years) and is getting worse.  I'll be glad to get it sorted out so that I can at least get some sleep at night.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Mab, how frustrating for you. I hope they find the cause soon. it's not good to have your sleep disrupted.
So hot and muggy in Perth. 37 yesterday with a massive electrical storm last night. Both myself and DH had little sleep, it seemed like every time we dozed off a massive thunder clap would wake us again.
So humid today and 36.
Have a great day everyone.

Katj has said it all. The thunderstorm seemed to go on for ever, at least there was no wind at our place!
Margaret I hope they can get to the bottom of your problem, lack of sleep is very frustrating.

Hello everyone,
It's been awhile since I posted.
I've been very busy with Mum, it's got it to the point were she can't do much for herself and we are starting to consider whether she should move to a nursing home.
I do try and read the forum so I can catch up with all your news.
Have a great day everyone 😃

Good morning folks, not a bad day here - 34 degrees and after a cooler night life is more bearable.

Good luck with the days ahead Katie, it's a worry when our parents reach this stage.

Lovely to hear from you Katie. I know exactly how you are feeling. It's very, very hard. DH's Mum absolutely refused, thank goodness my Mum was much better. It does give you some peace of mind.

Hi friends.
Lovely to hear from you Katie. A hard decision ahead of you to whether to put your Mum in a nursing home.

Evening all.
Did notice that we were off the air.
My TMX scales are playing up again. Did have them fixed while under warranty. Hope they won't charge as it is the same problem again.
Katie, it is so good to hear from you. Very difficult decision.
CC, could you send some rain over here. We are going to have a dry warm Autumn.
