Lovely that your class went well Chookie.

A very showery day here today. Walked with Chance this morning on our usual route. Nobody around.

Cookie and Judy, we were thinking of you last night .   What a match. Couldn't find you in the crowd Judy. Funny that.
We are hoping that it won't rain today.

No such luck unfortunately but a great game that had to go into overtime to get a result as it was all tied up at full time. WC were taller, stronger and more experienced compared to some of the youngsters in our team but our coach decided to go with the young ones and what an experience for them.  Love it, I had a great night yelling my lungs out.  Congratulations cookie, may your team go on to bigger and better things.

Thank you Judy. Wasn't it a tremendous game? I don't think I've seen such a good one for a very long time. I heard from friends who don't normally watch football saying what a brilliant team.
I felt sorry for Port after the game. There is nothing sadder than a team that lose a final. They played ever so well.
DH sat with headphones on and his iPod turned up loud! He hates footy.

Good morning everyone.  Feeling very tired this morning, I feel like I played that game last night!
Poor DH cookie, it must have been hard for him listening to you and DD last night.  Does he follow any sport at all?

Yesterday it didn't rain. First time for a couple of weeks.
I was able to spend most of the day in the veggie garden. I had to cut the parsley back with the hedge clippers. The chooks and worms had a good feed.

Good morning everyone, a lovely day here but then showers for the rest of the week from later today. My gardener is on his next patch, good for him that the soil is being kept moist by all the rain we've had. Quite a busy week with a few things on so no doubt it will be the weekend again before I know it.
Never heard of anyone having to cut their parsley back with hedge clippers Chookie, it must have been huge and thick.

Obbie, in our cold climate it is difficult to get a lot of things to grow. Then when we get some warm weather, it isn't for long.

We drove down to Busselton this morning. We encountered rain along the way, but it has been fine since we arrived. It's very overcast but otherwise lovely. Not a lot of people in the caravan park we usually stop in. It's only a block to the beach and an easy walk into the supermarket.

Today will be the wettest day of the week and our gardener has arrived to do 4 hours. Hope it doesn't rain too much.

Good morning everyone.
Good luck with your new gardener Chookie, they're a girl's best friend!
I had one gardener years ago who worked in any conditions, if he didn't he got behind in his scheduled jobs as he was a full-time gardener.  He'd put his big raincoat on and just get on with it. I was lucky yesterday with my current gardener, no rain here until late in the evening so he was able to get the next patch done.  He only does it for a hobby so the weather rules his schedule.
