Morning all.
Gayle, how about ice blocks in the chooks water.
Picked up GC and took them into Ballarat to do their Xmas shopping.
Lovely cool 24 today.
Obbie, hope all went well with check up.
Cookie, smart move.

Good luck with the weight loss Robyn, bad timing to be told that at Christmas!

God morning everyone.

Good to hear that you got a good report from the doctor Robyn.  Good luck with the weight loss.

Good morning all.
Well we all survived yesterday, but it was a busy, exhausting day. The highest reading I saw was 43.3, but it could have been even hotter as I was up in the backyard a lot.
The poor chooks struggled and even the cheeky possum who lives in the garden shed had to come out of his hidey hole in the top corner of the shed. We gave each other quite a fright lol.
I ended up leaving the hose running a little for the chooks (which they seemed to love). They are scared of ice blocks Chookie :-)). They won't even drink from a glass dish for some reason.
The garden is fried of course. Today is low to mid 20s so I might have to do some cooking while it's cool.
That is good news Robyn. Weight loss at Christmas is a bit of a bother, but I'm sure you'll find a way through.

Well done Robyn. It is ever so hard to lose weight, but when your health is involved it can be that little bit easier.

Great news about your checkup Robyn. Good luck with losing weigh. My neighbour has joined Slimming World and is having great success with the program. I'm amazed what she can eat.

Sitting here waiting for a speck of light to appear so Chance and I can go on our morning walk.

This crazy time of the year we need a good laugh. Try this.
Yesterday we drove GC down town to do their Xma shopping. They work during the year and have to put some money aside for gifts.
They had nearly finished their shopping but were 1 dollar short for their last purchase. They decided to walk around, looking at the ground to see if anyone had dropped a dollar.   After 1/2 hour walking around GD felt something in her pocket. It was a dollar.

Obbie good luck with the weight loss and SD.

I was surprised that they didn’t come back to us to get a dollar.
It is warming up here today. 29 predicted.
Getting up early to spend an hour in garden before it gets too hot. Need to pull out the pea and broad bean plants.

Good morning everyone.  Everyone has a busy week ahead but I’m having an easy one, all my functions are finished, the house and garden are up to scratch and I can just relax.  With 2 very hot days ahead I’m very glad of that.
